Objectives and Scope

The annual „Studia do Dziejów Architektury i Urbanistyki w Polsce” („Studies on the History of Architecture and Urban Planning in Poland”) is therefore a place for the publication of the results of scientific works concerning important issues in the history, research and documentation of architecture and urban planning from the past and present of the Republic of Poland, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The annual journal also publishes studies on the life and scientific achievements of eminent researchers of history of Polish architecture and urban planning.

In this way, it provides an opportunity to disseminate the results of research to a wide range of Polish and foreign scholars specialising in the broadly understood problems of architecture and urban planning in the past and present-day Republic of Poland, while at the same time filling the lack in our country of a scholarly journal with such a profile.
